Protesters are set to fly the Baby Trump blimp over Parliament on Friday when Trump will not be in town.

On Friday, he will join May for a counter-terrorism demonstration by United Kingdom and US special forces, before the main business element of his trip: talks with May and the new foreign secretary, Jeremy Hunt, at the PM's Chequers country retreat, including a working lunch.

Mr Trump cancelled a planned visit to open the newly-relocated embassy at the beginning of the year, saying it was a "bad deal" to move from Grosvenor Square in the prestigious Mayfair district of central London to what he described as an "off location" at Nine Elms, south of the Thames.

The Trumps were also met by protesters, who had earlier gathered outside Winfield House in central London, the home of the USA ambassador where the American guests are staying overnight, as well as outside Blenheim Palace. I haven't been there in a long time. "But when they make you feel unwelcome, why would I stay there?"

"Mr President, Sir Winston Churchill once said that "to have the United States at our side was, to me, the greatest joy", May told Trump, according to a text of her speech provided by her office.

"I think he would be a great prime minister".

He said: "I think allowing millions and millions of people to come into Europe is very, very sad".

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have a complicated history with hand-to-hand contact, but after their most intimate hand grip to date on Tuesday, the couple has shared yet another surprising public display of affection. "How can we roll out the red carpet for someone who stands for everything we stand against?" said academic Emily Jones, 40, one of those protesting outside Blenheim Palace.

"I don't think that's the case, and I think that the mood last night at the Blenheim dinner was so fantastically positive it focussed a lot on trade".

As Trump is expected to discuss a possible post-Brexit trade deal and other global issues with May, organizers of Friday's demonstrations say there is no shortage of issues that will inspire mass numbers of people to attend.

Opponents to the controversial U.S. leader have threatened mass protests but Mr Trump is expected to avoid areas such as central London where demonstrators are likely to gather.

The trip coincides with a tumultuous week for May after two senior ministers resigned in protest at her plans for trade with the European Union after Britain leaves next March. I get along with her very nicely.

He also told the paper that Boris Johnson, who resigned on Monday (9 July) as foreign secretary in protest of May's Brexit white paper, would make "a great prime minister" and that May ignored his advice on Brexit.

Ms Menon, who is part of a group who crowdfunded the balloon, said: 'We know that behind the humour of this the Trump baby represents a whole multitude of campaigns and issues.

Her pro-Brexit critics within her Conservative party say it fails to wrestle away the EU's reach, undermining Brexit's independence and sovereignty claims. "As he said in his interview with the Sun she "is a very good person" and he "never said anything bad about her", she said.

The Sun said its interview with Trump was conducted in Brussels before he left for the British leg of his trip.

"We expect the highest standards of each other".
