Boatwright has been sitting inside the Broward County Jail ever since - and it now looks like he might wind up staying there for quite a while, since he was charged this morning with the premeditated murder of rapper XXXTentacion, whose real name is Jahseh Onfroy.

Suspect Michael Boatwright, 22, was already in police custody on unrelated charges when officials charged him for an alleged role in killing XXXTentacion, whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, while he was leaving a auto and boat dealership in Deerfield Beach, about 40 miles (64 km) north of Miami, on June 18.

Onfroy's death came soon after his album '?' entered the charts at number one. He was served with a warrant for murder Tuesday while in custody. Williams was charged with first degree murder, as well as violating his probation for theft of a motor vehicle and driving without a valid license. Both men then fled in a dark-color SUV. Police said that his murder was a robbery gone wrong.

Onfroy was taken to Broward Health North, where he was pronounced dead. In addition to the drug charges he was already facing, he now faces the charge of murder. He had been recently released from house arrest while he awaited trial on battery and harassment charges - all of which he denied.

"We're not releasing any information about it because we're still looking for two other suspects, including Robert Allen", Israel said. Allen is also wanted in Broward County on a felony warrant for violation of probation for possession of the drug flakka and carrying a concealed firearm, according to the sheriff's office. Since early reports claimed that the suspects were seen with a red mask, the internet thought it had found the suspects.
