OnePlus 5, 5T Get Support For Project Treble With The Latest OxygenOS

Although having support for Project Treble does not provide a sure-fire guarantee both phones will receive incredibly fast updates in the future, it does make the chance of both the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T receiving Android P when it releases higher than ever. In August past year, Google engineers on an Android Developers Backstage podcast episode confirmed that they are working with OEMs to bring Project Treble to a mass level. Well now, the company has released OxygenOS Open Beta 13 and 11 for OnePlus 5 and 5T respectively that brings in Project Treble support to both these smartphones. OnePlus had only provided this feature to the OnePlus 6, but have now released it for last years devices as well.

The support for Project Treble on the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T indicates that these devices will receive even faster software updates than their predecessors. OnePlus also optimised logic for the contact page in the OnePlus Dialer app, and the OnePlus Weather app has been completely redesigned. Users who have registered for the same on their phones should find the new Open beta 13 and 11 in the settings of their respective devices. OnePlus rolled out a fix for all those compatibility issues with 3rd party camera apps.

U.S. job growth strong but unemployment rate rises to 4%
Some economists project economic output rose at better than 4% annual pace in the second quarter for the first time since 2014. Average hourly earnings are expected to have increased by 0.3% month-on-month and 2.8% compared to June 2017.

At the time of writing, the update doesn't appear to be available for us on our varied OnePlus 5Ts via means such as Oxygen Updater. The HDR works a lot better than before, and the oil-painting effect is pretty much gone. This list is part of its "key actions update" where the company details what actions it has taken to improve its products and services after conducting three Open Ears Forums across the globe. The front facing camera also gets some improvements. There is a "New Installs" tag that shows only the latest installed apps. The company has also introduced some changes to the default Launcher app, which now includes improved search tags, "New Installations" category tags in the apps section, and an app list improvement. The big one is the support for Project Treble, which is really great news for users of the device. You can head over to the Source link below for download link and installation instructions.
