Fortnite Season 5 Adds a New Squad Vehicle, Desert Biome & More

There's also Road Trip tier rewards (similar to Blockbuster challenges from last season) as well as Drift Challenges.

As expected, the map has changed following the rocket launch and subsequent appearance of mysterious rifts. It's also added two new named locations: Paradise Palms and Lazy Links, on top of a few anonymous areas that will surprise when you jump out of the Battle Bus.

There's a lot more to explore in the latest Season 5 update and you can check out the full patch notes here.

"Fortnite" season 5 also adds a new vehicle that will allow players to travel through the battle royale map faster. Grab your squad and cruise the map in style!

Croatia reach World Cup final as England pain goes on
As the extra period started Croatia struggled to maintain their intense pressure but continued to threaten the England defense. But Ivan Perisic equalized in the 68th after getting his foot to ball before England defender Kyle Walker could head it away.

The roof of the ATK also functions as a bounce pad. The ATK is basically a ruggedized golf cart that enables speed boosts when drifting. The height of the jump will depend on how well players are able to lean back and release at the same time. Epic has brought some of them down to earth in the form of Rifts. Polygon speculates that it might even transport players to an entirely different map.

As always with a Fortnite patch there are a bunch of fixes and performance improvements, with some changes too in weapon balancing. The center of the 7th, 8th and 9th Storm circles can now shift in random directions instead of just simply shrinking. However, the first storm circle will now only ever do 1 damage, no matter how long you're stuck in it. No one is more excited than the team over at Epic Games however, and they couldn't wait to share what else is in store for the popular game's fifth season. Shotgun spread will now be consistent with no random variation.

In 50v50 or 20v20 modes, you'll now get bonus XP up to three times per match for reviving teammates.

Perhaps the biggest news for Switch players, however, and the addition we know many of you lovely readers have been waiting for, is the addition of gyro controls exclusively for the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
