Thankfully for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Louis was very well behaved during his eagerly anticipated christening, and the 11-week-old stayed fast asleep as his mum carried him into the chapel.

Prince Louis, the third child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, was baptized on Monday at the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace.

Nicholas Van Cutsem, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, and Guy Pelly are Prince Louis' godfathers.

The robe, which was handmade by Angela Kelly, the Queen's personal dressmaker, is a replica of the original christening gown designed for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter.

According to People, the 92-year-old missed her great grandson's christening, but those in attendance included Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Middleton's family - her parents Michael and Carole, and siblings Pippa and James.

The three-year-old had a clear message for paparazzi as she left Prince Louis' christening to go to afternoon tea: "You're not coming".

Her mother added a blue headband with a bow, to decorate Charlotte's hair.

Louis Arthur Charles was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, on 23 April.

While Louis has six godparents, his older brother George has seven, while Charlotte has five.

Hours ahead of Prince Louis' christening on July 9, Kensington Palace revealed the names of the baby boy's godparents. All yes were of course on little Louis, but also on Charlotte's gorgeous little outfit which consisted of a baby blue dress, matching shoes and the cutest bow hairband by Pepa & Co.
