Kuo's research also predicted the release of 5.8- and 6.5-inch OLED screen iPhones, a 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Face ID, a new low-cost notebook that's not a MacBook Air, Apple watches with larger screens, and mass-production models of AirPower and updated AirPods. It features an Intel Iris Plus integrated graphics 655 paired with 128MB of eDRAM. The discrete graphics options are AMD Radeon Pro 555X with 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM and Radeon Pro 560X with 4GB of GDDR5 memory. The 13-incher can also be equipped with up to 2 TB of SSD storage. The update is slightly more than an expected specifications improvement for Apple's popular "Pro" laptops. It's included on both the actual display and the Touch Bar, too.

The new computers also feature the new Apple T2 chip, which was first used in last year's high-end iMac Pro. Apple had said it was not a safety issue and had offered worldwide free replacement for such batteries.

The updated MacBook Pros come ahead of a significant product blitz for Apple. Apples ays that its "improved third-generation keyboard" supports "quieter typing" this time, presumably softening the keystroke of the company's homegrown butterfly key mechanism. Sure, Apple will occasionally debut new watchbands, but the overall design of the casing and display itself has remained exactly the same. Suffice it to say, the new models - assuming the mockups are accurate - are going to be incredibly sleek.

In addition to the new notebooks, Apple introduced a leather sleeve for the MacBook Pro that is available in Saddle Brown, Midnight Blue, and Black, which is similar to the leather sleeves available for the MacBook.

Prices here start at £1,749 and £2,349.

The MacBook Pro 15-inch and 13-inch model also feature dynamic stereo speakers and Thunderbolt 3 that will enable data transfer and connecting up to two 5K displays or four external GPUs.
