Larry Kudlow, an economic adviser to President Trump, has been hospitalized at Walter Reed after suffering a heart attack, President Trump said Monday night.

"Our Great Larry Kudlow, who has been working so hard on trade and the economy, has just suffered a heart attack", Trump tweeted, just minutes before his highly anticipated summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

No additional information on Kudlow's condition was immediately available from the White House. The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is in suburban Maryland.

Kudlow, an unabashed supporter of free trade, joined the Trump administration earlier this year.

Kudlow went on to label Trudeau's news conference, at which the prime minister said "Canadians will not be pushed around" on the issue of tariffs, as a "betrayal".

Fair enough, but any eagle-eyed fans will also notice that Ky went back and got rid of all photos featuring Stormi's adorbs face. The makeup mogul shared a new selfie showing off her freckles while Stormi's face remained hidden from view.

Kudlow, a former Wall Street economist and television host, was selected by Trump to serve as Director of the National Economic Council in March.

"Here's the thing. He really kind of stabbed us in the back", Kudlow said on CNN Sunday.

Mr Kudlow is the White House's economic adviser - and in recent days, made remarks that helped ratchet up tensions following the G7 summit.

Larry Kudlow was taken to a Washington-area hospital, Mr. Trump announced on Twitter.
