During its Nintendo Direct presentation today, Nintendo confirmed that mythical Pokemon Mew will be available in Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and Let's Go Pikachu exclusively for owners of the Poke Ball Plus accessory.
The new controller has more than one function. However, he did make a rather big announcement by revealing that Mew is going to come with every Poke Ball Plus accessory. As we get closer to release, it will be interesting to see if legendary Pokemon like Lugia and Entei find their way into the Let's Go series.
For those who need a bit of a refresher, the Poke Ball Plus is essentially an improved version of the PokeWalker accessory that shipped with Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver back in the day.
Rebel Wilson's record defamation payout in Australia slashed by millions to £340,000
The night before the decision, Wilson took to Twitter to reveal she wasn't bothered by the publisher's appeal. Apparently some weight loss companies are using her image to sell their shit, and Wilson's not into it.
The Poke Ball Plus is due out this November, and is a physical item you can lug around with you and use to catch Pokemon in the upcoming Switch games Pokemon Let's Go! Players can use it to walk around in the game, but at the same time they can also use it to catch Pokemon by mimicking the throwing action, thus making the overall experience feel more "authentic".
It sounds like this will be the only way to get Mew in Pokemon Let's Go as well. While it may be a remake of the 20-year-old Pokemon Red and Blue, Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee promise to bring new twists to a classic tale. The Poke Ball Plus can be purchased on its own or in a bundle deal with a copy of the game.
