In an interview with Newsday, Repole said: "I watched the replay a bunch of times, the head-on, the aerial view, and I believe in what I said".

Justify will then leave for California and Baffert's training base Sunday for more rest.

It was the largest Belmont field ever beaten by a Triple Crown victor.

Owners of the latest Triple Crown victor said Justify will get a well-deserved break and then race again this year, although no date or location has been targeted yet after the colt came out of his Belmont Stakes victory in good condition.

If there was collusion between the Baffert-trained horses, Restoring Hope owner Gary West was not in on the plan. The chestnut son of Scat Daddy was greeted by his usual throng of media attention, but remained unfazed in the hands of trainer Bob Baffert's top assistant Jimmy Barnes.

A horse must win all three races to achieve the Triple Crown. His milestone run follows that of 2015 champion American Pharoah, also trained by Bob Baffert.

Taiwan-based Foxconn is the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer and employs more than a million people. A joint investigation found multiple labor violations at a Foxconn plant in China where Amazon devices are produced.

"No, Restoring Hope has natural speed", Baffert said.

The season-ending Breeders' Cup world championships are in Louisville on November 2-3. "He's just that kind of horse". We're just so proud of him. And, not for nothing, Seattle Slew raced six times and won six times in the 95 days between his 3-year-old debut in March and his triumph in the Belmont Stakes.

'Had I known better, the first eighth of a mile I would have thought it was a quarter-horse race, not the mile-and-a-half Belmont.

Repole owns fourth-place finisher Vino Rosso with fellow New Yorker Vinnie Viola. Sure, fans would love to see him run in the Travers, especially after Belmont runner-up Gronkowski learns to break, and in the Breeders' Cup Classic at Churchill Downs, where Justify could take a dramatic Derby curtain call. But now what? Has another "savior" of horse racing come and gone?

The age limit for horses in the Derby is three years. He pricked his ears at the sound of the shutter clicks and when Baffert led him closer, he playfully bit at one camera.

"We have the most tremendous team of people working for me", the Hall of Fame trainer said. Americans love dynasties, whether in politics, sports, or musical acts, and the Triple Crown is racing's greatest dynastic concept, an institution that predates every major championship event except the World Series. "Oh, Mike. Don't empty that tank", Baffert said.
