Alice Johnson never heard of Kim Kardashian before clemency effort

A photo of Kardashian West and Johnson sitting down for an interview to air on NBC's "Today" show on Thursday was posted to the Facebook page of The Scholl Law Firm, which represents Johnson.

Kardashian West, a 37-year-old mom of three, said she was in disbelief about her visit to the Oval Office, at the time thinking, "This is insane". The 62-year-old great-grandmother was serving a life sentence on nonviolent drug and money laundering charges. I started screaming and jumping. People were listening! I'm telling ya, I was dancing, I was dancing, I was jumping, I was screaming.

Kardashian West acknowledged that she has opposed Trump's policies in the past.

After commuting Johnson's life sentence and granting a posthumous pardon to boxing's first black heavyweight champion, Jack Johnson, at the request of actor Sylvester Stallone, Trump invited professional athletes with friends behind bars to bring those cases to his attention as well. "So, I do want to give credit where credit is due to everyone that's been working so hard on this for so long for her", Kim added when explaining her Oval Office meeting.

After Alice Marie Johnson received the news of her commutation, Kim Kardashian, who advocated for her release from prison, has made a decision to travel to Memphis to meet with Johnson in person. I'm ready to meet Kim.

Rebel Wilson's record defamation payout in Australia slashed by millions to £340,000
The night before the decision, Wilson took to Twitter to reveal she wasn't bothered by the publisher's appeal. Apparently some weight loss companies are using her image to sell their shit, and Wilson's not into it.

"I didn't", she said. "I've lived it, I've walked with them, I've cried with them. I started reading everything that I could about her, and everyone was amazed and I was amazed, too".

'And I said, "wait, you don't know?" and she said, "know what?" and I was like, "you are going home".

Kardashian West met with Trump last month to plead for a pardon for Alice Marie Johnson. "I love this lady", Johnson replies.

"I know that you have compassion for women like this", she recalled saying. Literally before you got here, Alice was wringing her hands and we were talking about...

More than a dozen people were lined up across the home where Kardashian and Johnson met. "This has fulfilled my heart, and so since I feel so fulfilled, why would I stop that?'"
