Actress and activist Rose McGowan will stand trial in January on a charge of felony cocaine possession in Virginia.

McGowan tweeted about incident, asking, "Are they trying to silence me?"

Later that year an arrest warrant for McGowan surfaced, shortly after she publicly accused Weinstein of raping her. "What a load of HORSES**T". Weinstein has denied all accusations. A detective testified that when he called McGowan about the wallet and said she would have to pick it up at the airport police department, she said she would come but never did.

McGowan's spokesperson confirmed to CNN the accuracy of her published quotes at the time. She previously stated that she believes the wallet was taken from her backpack while she was travelling.

The "Charmed" star and her attorney assert that she left her bag containing her wallet on the plane unattended. According to WTOP, the court will set a trial date on Tuesday.

Fox News reported that in court papers filed in February, lawyer Jessica Carmichael said five hours passed between the time McGowan got off the plane and her wallet was found by a cleaning crew.

"I'm the only one who's had handcuffs on me so far in this situation", she told the publication.

Weinstein pleaded not guilty to the sexual assault charges. The charges are unrelated to McGowan's allegations against him.

Weinstein couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
