In the Tuesday edition of this set, Pittsburgh scored six times in the first two innings and rode the wave to a 7-0 win. "I thought it was just two pitches that left the yard".

"I thought we did our homework well last time", he said.

After Frazier's homer in the first, Bell had a two-run double and Moran an RBI double to get Pittsburgh off to a fast start against Reynaldo Lopez (0-3).

"It's tough in the short term to come out of a game, but, hopefully, by coming out when I did, we've kind of mitigated it. ..." In 39.2 innings and a 2-3 record this year, Taillon has a 4.08 ERA with 35 Ks. Gregory Polanco, who also had two hits, added an RBI double in the sixth.

"I think he didn't really feel comfortable in the beginning", White Sox manager Rick Renteria said.

Over at PNC Park on Wednesday, the Chicago White Sox and the Pittsburgh Pirates will be meeting up on the Major League Baseball diamond.

Jailed Malaysian leader Anwar Ibrahim walks free
Anwar, now 70, was granted a royal pardon over a sodomy conviction that saw him jailed for the past three years. He also pledged to serve the premiership for around two years before handing it over to Anwar.

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte was removed from Tuesday's game in the third inning with right side discomfort.

Sox: Second baseman Yoan Moncada (left hamstring tightness) was activated from the disabled list and went 1 for 4.

Marte doubled and scored in the first inning but was removed from the game before his second at-bat in the third inning. Sean Rodriguez replaced him in the field and lineup.

Pittsburgh right-hander Jameson Taillon (2-3, 4.08 ERA) is scheduled to face White Sox left-hander Hector Santiago (0-1, 5.60 ERA).

There was no immediate word on the severity of Marte's injury, though both players nearly certainly will be held out of the Wednesday 12:35 p.m. finale of this two-game series with Chicago.

Santiago pitched one inning in relief in that two-game series last week, allowing no hits and striking out one. He left his previous start May 11 after just three innings with a laceration on the middle finger of his right hand.
