The Microsoft founder was answering staff questions during a recent Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation meeting when he revealed the weird anecdote. In April, Gates said that Trump offered him a role as White House science advisor, which he declined, saying that it was "not a good use of my time".

Yesterday, one of the most intelligent men in the world, Bill Gates, detailed an encounter with the POTUS.

Gates is a critic of Trump's policies, but did, indeed, meet twice with the president: once in March 2017, and again in the March 2018.

Gates remarked how in both meetings with Trump the president asked him about the harmful effects of vaccines. The competition was cancelled in 2016 due to heavy rain, and by then Trump was busy running for the White House.

"Both times he wanted to know if there was a difference between HPV and HIV". "So I was able to explain that those are rarely confused with each other".

For the record: HPV, or human papillomavirus, is a very common sexually transmitted disease that often causes no symptoms, but that can lead to an increased risk of cancer in some people.

Jennifer Gates and her parents, Bill and Melinda Gates, listen to former President Barack Obama speak at the Gates Foundation Inaugural Goalkeepers event on September 20, 2017 in New York City. Gates is speaking at some sort of event in the video, and the audience bursts into laughter. Bill Gates, 62, relayed a story about how he's had two conversations with the president and both times the topic of vaccines came up. "So when I went to talk to him, it was actually kind of scary how much he knew about my daughter's appearance".

"In both of those two meetings he asked me if vaccines weren't a bad thing because he was considering a commission to look into ill-effects of vaccines", Gates said.

"So when I first talked to him, it was actually kind of scary how much he knew about my daughter's appearance", Gates said. Gates also described how weird it sounded when the president referred to himself in the third person in one of the meetings. He said: "'Trump hears that you don't like what Trump is doing.' And I thought, 'Wow, but you're Trump, '" Gates said, earning laughs from the audience. But you're Trump?' So I didn't know if the third-party form was what was expected. In case you didn't know, he is by far the smartest, healthiest, proudest and most humble president of all time!
