Overwatch Hits 40 Million Players, Reveals New Map Details

Overwatch Anniversary will bring in a host of new content, including more than 50 fresh cosmetic items and the newest Deathmatch map, Petra! "There are some really fun gameplay elements to it, as well".

Kaplan also added that the map will be a fine fit for different types of heroes as well be them long-range ones or those that prefer to be up close in the fights.

Petra's release will coincide with the first free-for-all competitive Deathmatch season.

The anniversary loot box comes with a guaranteed anniversary item and the opportunity to get any item from any of their previous seasonal events.

The new items include eight Legendary skins, three Epic skins, and new dance emotes for Doomfist, Moria, and Brigitte.
