Nokia X6 has finally gone official in China with three variants. The name of the smartphone that's being launched is a little uncertain however, and while most rumours agree a Nokia X-Series smartphone is being launched, they go either way on whether the name is Nokia X or Nokia X6.

The latest smartphone from HMD Global boasts of a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The details suggest that the upcoming device will be priced at 1,499 Yuan (around Rs 13,500). At the heart of the Nokia X6 runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC paired with Adreno 509 GPU. The base variant has 4GB RAM and 32GB storage space while the mid variant has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space.
The Nokia X is equipped with two 16-megapixel sensors in its vertical dual rear camera setup, while front camera specifications are yet to be disclosed. A microSD card slot for further enhancement is also present. Nokia has also added AI chops to the camera which helps in enhancing photo quality, and add automatic filters. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and will receive the Android P update in future. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). A 3.5mm audio port is also present.
To keep things ticking, the Nokia X6 is armed with a 3,060mAh battery, with Quick Charge 3.0 feature that can take the battery from empty to 50 percent in 30 minutes. Apart from a fingerprint sensor, the phone also supports face recognition.
