The recently announced Motorola Moto G6 has just been announced in China with the same hardware but under a different name - Moto 1S. The company also confirmed to launch the Moto G6 and G6 Play in India in the coming weeks. The Moto G6 runs on stock Android 8 Oreo OS, whereas the Moto 1s offers a custom ZUI 3.5 custom user interface on top of Android 8 Oreo.
The device is already available for purchase in China with a price tag of CNY1,499 ($235). Talking about the specifications, the device comes with a 5.7-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, paired with Adreno 506 GPU.
The phone has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
