Late passenger tries to break into plane, gets arrested at airport

A passenger has ran across the tarmac at Melbourne Airport in Australia and tried to force open the door of a Jetstar plane after he missed his flight on Thursday morning. After all this, it wasn't even the right flight.

According to Channel 9 the man made several attempts to enter the plane, "before he begins to bash it with his feet".

A Jetstar spokeswoman told The West Online that its baggage handlers, went above and beyond to restrain the man.

It is understood that the man became enraged when Jetstar staff notified him that he had missed his flight - with one witness claiming "he was physically fighting with the staff, punching and scratching them".

A man caused a stir at Melbourne Airport on Wednesday when he rushed past gate security staff and tried to storm a plane which was preparing for take-off.

"We had been sitting ready to get on the flight and folks went 'Oh my god, what's going on?'" she informed 9news.com.au.

The bearded and tattooed man responded to the news by lighting a cigarette in the no-smoking airport terminal, before suddenly charging onto the tarmac.

"In some unspecified time in the future he received away from them", she mentioned.

"We reward our crew for safely dealing with this incident and restraining the passenger till police arrived", Jetstar mentioned in a press release. At least two Jetstar employees suffered injuries.

The staff restrained the 57-year-old - however he managed to break free and again reached the door of the plane. The video ends as the man is about to be confronted by staff.

"This behaviour is unacceptable and we have placed an immediate ban on this passenger traveling on all Jetstar and Qantas flights", said a spokesperson for Jetstar, the passenger's would-be airline of choice.

The man then attempted to board a Jetstar 787 Dreamliner but was confronted by the pilot before being Tasered by police and detained.
