Stewart will join forces with comedian Dave Chappelle for a handful of stand-up gigs next month, including shows in Boston June 11-13 at the Boch Center. From the 11th to the 13th, Jon Stewart and Dave Chappelle perform in the Wang Theatre.
The event will find the two touching on some of today's hottest topics while following up a series of shows from Chappelle, including a set at New York City's Radio City Music Hall a year ago.
Before his Netflix deal, Chappelle had walked away from a $50 million deal in 2005 to continue his hit Comedy Central show, citing fatigue, a loss of creative control, and discomfort with the material, CNN reported. From there, they will head to Texas to perform two shows at the Smart Financial Centre in Houston, and two shows at El Paso's Chavez Theatre. Stewart is also preparing for an upcoming HBO comedy special, his first since 1996.

Former Daily Show host Stewart has kept busy as well; last July, he released a pair of HBO stand-up specials, which were his first in two decades.
The Wang will be on serious smartphone lock-down for the event. "Guests maintain possession of their phones throughout the night, and if needed, may access their phones at designated Yondr unlocking stations in the lobby".
