Fox CinemaCon: Rami Malek Embodies Freddie Mercury's Humanity In 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Trailer

'I thought when I got the part that this could be a career-defining performance, ' he told guests at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.

Wearing a snug white vest and tight-fitting jeans, actor Rami Malek bears a striking resemblance to legendary Queen singer Freddie Mercury in new stills from forthcoming biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. During the recent Cinemacon event, 20th Century Fox revealed a few images from the film and they look as if Queen had made a comeback and the world has time travelled in the past. The film is titled after one of their record-braking numbers, Bohemian Rhapsody, written by Mercury himself for their 1975 album, A Night at the Opera. You don't get this right, and it's trouble. Mercury wrote numerous hits for Queen, including "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Killer Queen", "Somebody to Love", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", and "We Are the Champions". He is, without a doubt in my mind, the greatest performer that has existed.

Bohemian Rhapsody will be released November 2.

The film has had behind-the-scenes drama: Director Bryan Singer was sacked in December due to unexplained absences from the set. "There is no one like this human being." said Malek.

"What he does in his music is he gives everyone watching this ability to embrace all of their imperfections and sing as loudly as they can", Malek added.

The studio also shared the first trailer from the film during the presentation, and reporters in the audience had positive-to-mixed reactions. Eddie the Eagle filmmaker Dexter Fletcher soon stepped in to take over.

Queen guitarist Brian May has seen the movie and emailed Malek to say the film brought him to tears and that if Mercury were alive, he would be "proud" of it.

Bohemian Rhapsody was just one of many, many incredible first looks provided by FOX at CinemaCon.
