Deadline is reporting that Straight Outta Compton and Fast and Furious 8 director F. Gary Gray is set to helm a new movie based on the Kenner toy range MASK. M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) is a task force led by Matt Trakker with the goal of taking down the criminal organization known as V.E.N.O.M.
Every other 80s toy has its own film franchise, so why not M.A.S.K. (Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem, of course).
The project will look to adapt the 1980s action figure line and cartoon series.

The current share price indicates that stock is -21.42% away from its one year high and is moving 29.32% ahead of its 52-week low. Zacks Investment Research downgraded Cleveland-Cliffs from a "buy" rating to a "hold" rating in a report on Tuesday, January 9th.
No writer has yet been attached to script the M.A.S.K. movie, nor has a release date been announced. However, these last two series strayed from the original theme of the series of crime-fighting and terrorism, focusing instead on a racing theme. His involvement with the 8th instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise past year saw the film earn itself a staggering 1.2 billion dollars worldwide.
Gray, whose Fate of the Furious grossed $1.2 billion dollars worldwide, is now preparing to shoot the untitled Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson-starring Men in Black reboot, which is set to begin production in June for release in 2019.
