Prom season is here for millions of Americans and the photos that come with it, but a "joke" picture posted Saturday by a former National Football League kicker holding a gun between his daughter and her date has sparked outrage by some online.

The filmmaker said about the plot the plot of future episodes that it will remind of a good family chronicle with a dynamic plot. The six-part docuseries, AMC Visionaries: James Cameron's Story of Science Fiction , premieres Monday, April 30 at 10 p.m.
"The prom picture I posted was obviously meant to be a joke", Feely wrote Sunday. Feely also said he takes gun safety seriously. In some instances, that joke has involved a dad threatening the new boy in his little girl's life.
Not long after Feely posted the image on Twitter Saturday, the image became the center of Twitter arguments on the importance of gun safety.
"Cool to know if your daughter has any self agency you'll shoot her boyfriend", wrote one user.
Ex-NFL placekicker Jay Feely would probably have escaped without criticism had he not remained a public figure through his association with CBS Sports. He now lives in Arizona - a state in which it is legal to carry a concealed handgun, no permit required - with his family.
