The Blues were 1-0 up against Barcelona last night in their Champions League Round of 16 tie, before Lionel Messi broke his Chelsea duck to end the game in a favourable tie. Andreas Christensen's suicidal pass across goal left Cesar Azpilicueta scrambling in vain and allowed Iniesta to cut the ball back to Messi.
However, three Blues players remain positive despite the late setback in which Lionel Messi scored his first goal against Chelsea in nine attempts. They have the attacking resources to cause us problems. "For me he was one of the best players tonight". The Barcelona manager added that Chelsea's high pressing made it hard for his men to control the game.
Before this tie, Chelsea coach Antonio Conte claimed his side would need a "perfect game" if they were to progress, and Christensen will be all too aware that his mistake was the difference. "But as you know very well against this opponent, this type of player like Messi, [Luis] Suarez and [Andres] Iniesta, if you make a mistake you pay".
'It is a pity and we are disappointed with the final result.
"They almost gave away a penalty with Suarez and then the mistake came from Christensen - and they were punished".
"Against Manchester United, I think we can do a great job", Willian said.
China probes ship-to-ship transfer report
China has repeatedly said it is fully enforcing all resolutions against North Korea, despite suspicion in Washington, Seoul and Tokyo that loopholes still exist.
After a goalless first half, Willian, who had twice hit the woodwork, put the hosts ahead with a low strike from outside the penalty area on 62 minutes.
"You've got a chance at home - that's when you win against Barcelona, you don't often win at the Nou Camp".
Nevertheless, Willian saw enough in Chelsea's performance at Stamford Bridge to suggest they can upset the odds in the second leg.
Cesar Azpilicueta hopes the footballing gods smile more kindly on Chelsea when they head to Barcelona for their Champions League last-16 second leg. It has happened and now we have to think of the next game and not what has happened.
"Aside from this passage of play, Chelsea very almost did play the ideal game".
