The collision of moist and cold air will set Austin up for a 50 percent chance for light rain that night, which could last through Tuesday morning - and potentially become sleet.

All of the weather moves in Friday morning with a period of heavy rain before it changes to ice and then snow.

Orange, Rutland and Windsor counties will have a winter weather advisory in effect from 9 p.m. Friday until 4 p.m. Saturday.
