Hip hop to dominate Firefly with Eminem, Kendrick Lamar as headliners

Organizers of the 2018 Firefly Music Festival announced that Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Arctic Monkeys and The Killers will headline this year's event.

It should come as no surprise that The Killers are joining them at the top of the DE event's bill given that they're playing pretty much everywhere this year, while Eminem and Kendrick Lamar are also headlining between June 14th-17th.

The band has been working on a new album, the follow-up to 2013's AM, which is expected to be released sometime this year.

But a video which fans believed revealed further tour dates has been revealed to be fake. It suggested that the band would be playing Mad Cool Festival, Primavera Sound and Rock Werchter among others - with something rumoured to be happening in London tomorrow night.

According to NME, Arctic Monkeys' bassist Nick O'Malley recently confirmed the band had started recording their new album this past September. What sort of problems, we wonder?

Let's hope there's more to come from the United Kingdom heroes soon.
