Colombian defender Yerry Mina on Saturday was presented as the newest footballer for FC Barcelona, after signing a five-and-a-half-year contract with the Catalan club.
The Catalan giant announced an €11.8million deal to bring Mina from Palmeiras on Friday (AEDT), the Colombia worldwide putting pen to paper on a five-and-a-half-year contract.
Barcelona have made all the headlines during the January transfer window thanks to their £145 million acquisition of Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool.

The Colombian worldwide will undoubtedly strengthen Barcelona's defensive side, especially with Javier Mascherano expected to leave the club.

Mina will provide defensive cover for the likes of Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti, while replacing Javier Mascherano who's set to leave the club with a move to the Chinese Super League heavily muted.
