Did Botswana Condemn Trump's Alleged 'Shithole' Slur Toward African Countries?

The Government of Botswana is wondering why President Trump, must use this descriptor and derogatory word, when talking about countries with whom the U.S. has had cordial and mutually beneficial bilateral relations for so many years.

He turned to Twitter to state: "Never said anything derogatory about Haitians other than Haiti is, obviously, a very poor and troubled country".

She said that while the president and critics may argue over what was said in the DACA meeting, many in the immigrant community will remember the initial vulgar quote that was reported. "I expect that our assistance program would continue pretty much as they are", Jackson told Joy News.
