Lane Johnson walked off the field wearing a dog mask while teammates barked after the Philadelphia Eagles squeaked out an upset to move within one victory of the Super Bowl. The Eagles were 5-3 ATS at home this season. I can only imagine how motivated they are to reach the Super Bowl for the second year in a row and erase the shock of last year's overtime loss to New England, in which they frittered away a 25-point lead.

The two teams exchanged punts before Foles engineered an 86-yard, 14-play drive for an Eagles touchdown.

Elliott connected on a 53-yard field goal as time expired in the first half, closing the Eagles' deficit to 10-9. Six plays later, Ryan hit Devonta Freeman from six yards out, and Atlanta led 10-6.

This year's College Football National Championship was a great game like last year's was. The Eagles' offensive line, running backs and a stingy defense rallied around the team's signal-caller, too.

Jones had nine receptions for 101 yards, and Ryan was 22-of-36 for 210 yards. He was sacked three times and under constant pressure. The Falcons quarterback was superb against the Los Angeles Rams in the wild-card round, completing 21 of 30 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown in a turnover-free performance.

Their second play back in the postseason?

Israeli Air Force Fires Missiles Into A Border Tunnel In Southern Gaza
Nezar Ayyash, the head of Gaza fishermen union, earlier said the fisherman had been shot by gunfire from the Egyptian border. Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman commended the forces for carrying out the "professional and precise" operation.

Ricardo Allen knocked the ball loose from Jay Ajayi on the Eagles' opening drive and Keanu Neal recovered the fumble.

The Eagles frankly were lucky to only be trailing 10-9 at halftime. But the reality is the Falcons wouldn't be here if not for their top-10 defense.

The Eagles took the lead off the Falcons early in the second quarter when running back (RB) LeGarrette Blount charged over on fourth and goal.

"Obviously pretty much the whole season's on that play right there", said safety Malcolm Jenkins. Elliott's missed extra point left it 6-3. "Jake did an awesome job of kicking that for us".

With the Eagles defense on top in the second half, Atlanta struggled to generate forward momentum. That decisive 21-yard kick capped an 80-yard, 14 play drive that took almost eight minutes off the clock.

And after watching the first half against the Falcons that began with Foles throwing a pass woefully short and his best pass of the game being one that should have resulted in an interception, it's easy to see why. Ajayi had 49 rush yards on seven first-quarter carries, but the Eagles' run game stalled after that, netting 47 yards the remainder of the game. It's been that kind of game so far for Foles. He'll now have a chance to play for a spot in Super Bowl LII in three weeks.
