Asus has announced that it is launching the Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) in the USA, the handset joins the ZenFone Max in the US.

Display-wise, the phone has 5.7” panel with 18:9 ratio and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The company has made this possible via an optional "double battery lifespan" feature which comes as part of the Max Plus' suite of "intelligent power management technologies" collectively known as Asus PowerMaster.

Too bad the octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor and Android 7.0 Nougat software are not very "class-leading". At the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show this week, ASUS announced that the ZenFone Max Plus (M1), an enhanced version of this year's ZenFone Max, would be coming to the United States. In addition to the front f/2.0 selfie camera, ZenFone Max Plus features an advanced dual rear-camera system created to take mobile photography to new heights.

Mitt Romney was treated for prostate cancer last summer
Hatch - the longest serving Republican in the Senate - announced last week that he will be retiring at the end of this term. Romney spoke to President Donald Trump over the phone Thursday, a White House official confirmed to CNN.

With its expanded viewing area, compact size, dual rear cameras, convenient face- and fingerprint-recognition security, and a high-capacity 4130mAh battery - the hallmark of the ZenFone Max Series - ZenFone Max Plus offers a class-leading combination of features created to encompass all life's adventures.

On paper, the Asus ZenFone Max Plus (M1) supports up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, but for 230 bucks, you'll only get 3 gigs of memory and 32GB digital hoarding room starting sometime in February, in your choice of Azure Silver or Deepsea Black paint jobs. The device also comes with a 4130 mAh battery which offers up to 26 days of standby. The phone also has a 16 MP front-facing selfie camera. It's probably a cheap implementation that can be tricked with a picture, but what with almost every OEM nowadays doing face unlocking, it only makes sense to see Asus jump on the bandwagon. There's also a fingerprint sensor in the rear of the phone. Connectivity options include 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE Cat 6 modem, USB port, microSD card slot, headset jack and dual SIM card slots.
