Catherine: Full Body Might Be Coming To Nintendo Switch In The West

Atlus teased a remaster for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita earlier in the week, and now they've confirmed it will be coming to both the U.S. and Europe.

A lot of fans got very excited at this week's news that puzzle-drama Catherine is being reworked for a PS4 and PS Vita release as Catherine: Full Body.

Of course, this new introduction will make the title to also have new cutscenes that present situations different from those we saw in the original title of PS3 and Xbox 360.

The trailer was featured as part of a live stream, broadcast by Atlus.

Meanwhile, her loyal fans are furious about the alleged leak and took it to social media to express their disgust over the tape. The video was leaked onto the Internet on Friday, on the same day as the release of her latest single, Bartier Cardi .

Catherine fits Atlus's unique and quirky anime vibe, but isn't anything like its other showstoppers such as Shin Megumi Tensei or Persona.

2011's Catherine was a very unusual sort of game.

Arguably the biggest appeal of Catherine's original release was that the plot explored the morality of a 30-something-year-old male who feels like he's being pressured into marriage by his long-term girlfriend. The remake's new character Rin seems like she may be treated in a similar, disrespectful manner. As a remake, Full Body will add a variety of new features both in terms of story and gameplay, with the most notable among them being a new love interest named Rin (voiced by Aya Hirano), whose introduction effectively transforms protagonist Vincent's already complicated love triangle into a catastrophic love square. A Western release date and pricing have not yet been announced.
