August Ames, famous for movies like "Beauty and the Beast XXX: An Erotic Fairy Tale Parody" and "Baby Got Boobs", has died, and friends of the actress believe she took her own life.
23-year-old August Ames took her own life after she was branded "homophobic" on social media. She was reportedly found dead in the city of Camarillo in Ventura County, California on Tuesday (5 December).
Ames' husband, adult film director Kevin Moore, said in a statement: "She was the kindest person I ever knew and she meant the world to me".
'Please leave this as a private family matter in this hard time, ' he added.
The cause of her death was not revealed as her family members had not been notified.
Ames debuted in 2013 and was a two-time AVN Award-winner with more than 270 credits, according to AVN.
