Forecast: Warmer weather expected for Thanksgiving

Don't let Wednesday morning's weather fool you - New Yorkers and their relatives are in for a clear, crisp Thanksgiving weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures dipped below freezing Wednesday in Oklahoma City, but a warmer day is ahead Thursday for Thanksgiving Day, the National Weather Service reports. Southwest wind 5 to 7 miles per hour becoming calm in the afternoon. Saturday night, partly cloudy, with a low around 33. Friday night, mostly clear, with a low around 40. North wind around 15 miles per hour. Breezy, with a north wind 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Fog should clear up by 11 a.m. according to the weather service, and isn't anticipated as a problem through the rest of the week. South wind 5 to 8 miles per hour.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 62.

Black Friday: Sunny with a high of 64 and a low of 50.
