On Wednesday, Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer provided the latest on his injured quarterback. The quarterback, who sustained a noncontact injury to his left knee against the New Orleans Saints in Week 1, hasn't practiced since last Thursday.

Zimmer said Bradford will remain the starter as soon as he's healthy again, but Keenum's performance in the victory over Tampa Bay certainly gave the Vikings more confidence they can win without Bradford.

France, Italy reach shipyard deal with high ambitions
France had this summer blocked the takeover of the shipyard STX, citing concerns about jobs but annoying the Italian government. Fincantieri shares were down 2 percent at 1.08 euros by 0830 GMT on September 28.

Zimmer has been avoiding specifics about Bradford's potential return timetable, saying after a Week 2 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers his quarterback could play "one week from now" or "six weeks from now" but that he's "fine". He threw for 369 yards and three touchdowns against the Buccaneers.

Bradford has not practiced since September 21, a day before he flew to Pensacola, Fla.to visit Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion on his knee. That means Keenum will start behind center for the third straight week. Bradford's availability will thus be considered on a week-to-week basis.

"He might play one game from now, he might play six weeks from now", Zimmer said on September 17.
