Coutinho is available to play in the Champions League - Klopp

Liverpool have the players to win the Champions League this season, Luis Garcia has claimed.

And Kop chief Klopp left his star out of Saturday's game at Manchester City in which Liverpool were thrashed 5-0.

Klopp has no doubts about Coutinho's quality but knows they will need more than just the Brazil ace to get them back on track.

Liverpool boss Klopp is missing several key names going into Wednesday night's clash.

Meanwhile Brazil global Philippe Coutinho could return to the starting lineup after he joined to first-team training last week.

Pitt was able to get on the board right before the half on a 28 yard field goal by Alex Kessman. "That brought everybody up". These jerseys have some new trim on them, and they're a little louder than Pitt's old shades of blue and yellow.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted that he does not regret omitting Philippe Coutinho from the squad for the Premier League fixture with Manchester City. The 23-year-old has under 10 months remaining on his contract with Liverpool.

On the specific absence of Coutinho's incisive passing, Klopp added: "We score a lot of goals and all the players on the pitch play these passes". If you want to blame me for the decision (not to play Coutinho) then no problem. He came back long flight, 15 minutes here, 15 minutes there, three weeks without training.

"Phil is a fantastic player, and hopefully we can use him as quickly as possible". We have matches next Wednesday, next Saturday, we play, play, play, play. I will have the situation all the time now over the next three or four weeks.

"We thought it best to give him three or four days proper training and then he'll be available for us, which is very good news", continued Klopp.

The Spaniard is expected to miss the UEFA Champions League group stage match against Liverpool at Anfield, as well as Sunday's La Liga clash against Girona, reports Efe news agency.
