APC Lawmaker: Buhari should sack Alhassan Now

Among the political bigwigs, Alhaji Abubakar, is already in limelight as all angles point that the Waziri of Adamawa may give in his money and influences for the top seat.

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, saturday said the open declaration of support for former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar by the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Senator Aisha Alhassan, could affect the minister's contribution to the vision and development of the Muhammadu Buhari government.

Mrs. Alhassan had openly declared support for the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, in an interview with BBC Hausa on Wednesday, apart from the leaked video where she had meeting with the him to declare her unflinching support for his 2019 presidency bid.

"Boko Haram kidnapped many others, including women and children apart from Chibok Girls".

Amosun said: "She (Alhassan) is entitled to her opinion, but I would have saluted her if she had honourably resigned her appointment because you can not blow both hot and cold at the same time".

"When we came on board in 1999, I remember we recovered between $4.5 and $4.7 billion from those that looted under (Late Sani) Abacha", he said.

"I don't think there is a sabotage in that government because she is just an individual and unfortunately I am not from that region".

It's Prince George's first day of school!
The condition means she has had to cancel several public engagements, including accompanying George to Thomas's Battersea . And fortunately for Kate, there will be plenty more school runs to do - and, of course, plenty more first days of school.

However, her comments have drawn anger from party loyalists who felt there is a need for President Muhammadu Buhari to sack any of his cabinet members that fail to show him some respect.

She said: "In 2015 prior to the election, when Buhari chose to contest following intense pressure, he declared that he was going to serve one tenure, that is four years". What will I say now, I have said all in BBC Hausa.

"You know PMB has not really been in the country this year; he might have reshuffled before now. By nature and character, she is not the type to divulge sensitive information", Mr. Suleiman said.
