Xiaomi India is gearing up to launch their first dual camera smartphone in India.
The invite says that a "flagship dual camera" product will launch at the New Delhi event, above the image of what is likely a representation of its dual camera setup. It comes powered by octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM. Folks interested in attending Xiaomi's launch event can register at the Mi website, and Xiaomi will offer free tickets to selected participants. At the front there is a 5-megapixel snapper. The smartphone runs Android 7.1.1 and is rumoured to be based on MIUI 9, whereas the Chinese edition is based on MiUi 8.5.
Last month, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 5X at an event in Beijing, China. Xiaomi is all set to launch its new smartphone in India. But it is expected that Xiaomi will launch Xiaomi Mi 5X. Xiaomi claims that the Mi 5X can parallel the Mi 6 in terms of camera performance.

Xiaomi Mi 5x has 12 megapixels dual camera setup with one wide-angle lens and other telephoto lens offering portrait mode. The invite image consists of dual rear cameras, which suggests that one of it will sport a larger sensor, while the other will be a smaller one.
The Mi 5X, was introduced in three colour variants - Black, Gold and Pink and was priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 14,200) at the time of its launch in China.
Connectivity options in the device include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port.
It was also reported that Xiaomi might launch the Mi 5X as an Android One phone with the name "Xiaomi A1". Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
