Social media platform Facebook's servers went down for about half an hour on Saturday evening.
Facebook and Instagram appear to be down for some users this morning with some unable to post and others unable to access the sites entirely.
"Earlier today some people may have had trouble accessing Facebook on the desktop version of Chrome for a short period of time".
The technical problems appeared to be resolved for many users shortly before 3.30pm.

The official repeated that it was up to the United Kingdom to take responsibility and on how it affected Ireland. The EU is hoping to complete the first stage of Brexit negotiations between October and December 2017.
Both Facebook and Instagram are down for many users this morning.
